Prioritised Deduplication We have developed our own deduplication software, so that we can deduplicate client data more effectively. - We deduplicate your address based data according to your rules. - It lets you prioritise the data being deduplicated so you have control of which records you keep. You may have 10 mailing lists being merged with your client database and you would prefer to keep your client list records as they have account numbers. Our deduplication software can prioritise to keep your client data. Much more than just plain deduplication Most deduplication software just removes duplicate data and leaves you with a database with non-duplicate addresses. However you do not know whether each resulting record was unique or was one of a set of duplicates. Our software is different. The software flags records as either:

Unique	No duplicates
Original	The first of a set of duplicates records. You set the priority order
Duplicates	The 2nd, 3rd etc. duplicate

This added information gives you much more control. Extract new prospects Often our clients want to send a mailing just to new prospects. They want to be sure that the addresses are not already on their current client database. Prioritised deduplication can be used to extract these new prospects. E.g. New mailing required for new addresses only. 1) Existing client database and various mailing lists supplied with instructions to extract all addresses on the mailing lists that are NOT existing contacts, i.e. the new prospects. 2) We run our prioritised deduplication software and a list of all the new prospects can be extracted.
